While unmistakably a true Californian in spirit and lifestyle, Mark originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and still carries an air of southern hospitality, as evident by the level of dedication, warmth, and loyalty that he brings to each and every one of his clients
Most recently, Mark was instrumental with the opening of Partners Trust Ocean Park office, as well as OpenHouse, a retail storefront concept featuring an immersive home decor experience. In line with the brokerage itself, these projects are shaping up to be anything but ordinary, and Mark’s involvement reflects his own personal interest and appreciation for architecture, style, and the story of homes.
“I love the creative side of design and get a lot of pleasure from seeing something that was once in my mind turn into reality. I greatly appreciate the moods that a particular design can curate and for me, in my life and in my business, I like a mood that is inviting, warm, pleasant and timeless.”
Mark’s clientele consists of a diverse list of celebrities and professional athletes, investors and developers, as well as first-time home buyers. In addition to setting the record for the highest priced home in Venice—a community he resided in for ten years—Mark has been featured in a number of media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, KCREW, E! and The Los Angeles Times. Prior to his career in real estate, Mark worked in television, including roles at both VH1 as well as a top-rated sports program on FOX Sports.
Beyond real estate, Mark and his wife, Leah, own a Pilates and spin studio close to their home in the newly-coined neighborhood of Culver West. The self-proclaimed foodie and father especially loves the walkability of his community, a characteristic that enables his growing family to travel to and from the park and a handful of praise-worthy restaurants. Mark can also be found spending his time through volunteering and raising money for several charities such as the Global Nomads Group, True Connection, Giving Back Homes, The Judy Fund, People Loving Pets and several others.
